Past meets present: DCCCD desired a new innovative space to reflect a modern feel while responding and meeting the historic preservation requirements of Dallas' historic West End district. CaCo Architecture led the completion of the Design Development phase, in effect becoming the Project Architect through the successful completion of the project. In addition, CaCo Architecture provided full interior design services, inclusive of FF&E, Graphics and Art Selection.
The result: an impressive, newly designed front entrance framing the circulation hub of three existing campus buildings and the expansion of the satellite campus into a multi-functional center. The space includes classrooms, computer labs, meeting rooms, student and faculty administrative spaces, an open commons area, gallery space, restrooms, full service kitchen/snack bar, black box theatre, and A/V Lounge.
