Developing a first-class athletic complex to complement its Academic offerings Shelton sought to explore the feasibility of an access challenged and irregularly shaped site to house comprehensive athletic training and game-day facilities allowing a full range of athletic participation.

CaCo developed a plan which took advantage of the inherent site challenges turning them into great opportunities for controlled vehicular access. ​
